As the Autumn 2025 season winds down, we'd like to thank all the coaches, mentors and parents for all the support the club have received throughout the season. Whether it's working with the girls on the pitch, behind the scenes arranging pitches, matches, refs, or driving your daughters all over Kildare......we wouldn't have the club we have without everybody pulling in the same direction. π«‘ We have had a great season at every level from U7s right up to Minor. The players in the younger groups continue to enjoy being out in the fresh air and playing with their friends, while also honing their football skills. The players in the teenage groups still have fun hanging out with their friends and teammates, while also learning how to work well within a team, be sporting winners or gracious in defeat. It's always great to see so many girls out training on weekdays or playing matches on the weekends. π€
This will be the last newsletter of 2025. Hopefully we'll see all the girls return in Spring. We also look forward to having our new U7 recruits on board in 2026! π§

The Straffard AGM is taking place on Wednesday 19th November @ 8pm in Ardclough Clubhouse. Our club is continuing to grow and we want to continue to give our girls the best experience possible. As a result we need more help and are asking any parent who is interested in helping to run our club to attend the AGM.
The club is inviting any proposed motions for consideration by the current Executive Committee and nominations for the following officer roles:
Chairperson Vice chairperson Secretary Vice secretary Treasurer Vice Treasurer Registrar PRO Development & Coaching Officer County Board Delegates
To facilitate this, all proposed motions and nominations must be sent to Straffard.kildare@lgfa.ie by Wednesday 12th November.
If anyone is interested in a role but wants to chat in advance of putting a nomination forward, please reach out to Avril Doyle on 086 3393926 for further info.
