Congratulations to our Straffard girls in St Anne’s NS Ardclough for their brilliant victory in the Cumann na mBunscol final!
This is a tremendous achievement for the girls from 5th and 6th class, who displayed exceptional skill and teamwork in a thrilling match against Rathmore NS at the Moorefield GAA grounds. The final score, St. Anne’s 3:9 to Rathmore 1:5. 👏👏

All roads lead to Celbridge this weekend as our fantastic U14s take on Kill in the U15 Div 10 league final in Celbridge GAA.

U10s vs Kilcullen and St. Laurences
Our two U10 teams made an early trip to Kilcullen Saturday morning for matches against the hosts and Larries. Some brilliant football on display and an array of goals and point scoring from all teams. The coaches were delighted with the mornings work.

U12s vs Maynooth
Our U12s travelled over to Maynooth in the spring league. The girls were terrific from start to finish and giving as good as they got against a resolute Maynooth team and coming away with the win. The coaches were extremely proud of the girls who listened to the instruction given and executed brilliantly 👏
Big shout out to ref and Kildare minor player Tara who did a great job and gave great encouragement and advice to the girls after the match.

Our U8’s were out in Balyna last weekend. They are all playing great and having great fun playing football together. 🤗

U17s vs Sarsfields (League Semi-Final)
Our oldest Straffard team continue to set great standards for our younger girls to look up to and follow. In a super tight game on Tuesday night against Sarsfields they came out on top 5-10 to 5-8. A phenomenal achievement to get to the final where they will face Leixlip after the Junior Cert exams. Well done girls. 👏👏
