There was an incredible turnout last weekend for the Straffan fun run/ walk. Over 350 people participated. Thanks to everyone in the community for the support 👏.
Straffan Fun Run/Walk
Well done to our U14 team who won the U15 Division 10 county final last Saturday against Kill on a scoreline of 4-5 to 1-2. Both teams know each other well after many hard fought battles over the years. There were great individual performances on the day but it was the great teamwork and determination to win every ball that was the main difference between the teams. Every player turned up on the day fully focused on winning the game. 💪 Well done girls, your coaches are extremely proud of you! 👏
Straffard U14s in Cup Final
More Cup final action this weekend as all roads once again lead to Celbridge, where our fabulous U13s play their Division 1 final against the hosts. As Celbridge will have a lot of home support it would be great to get as many girls as possible over from Ardclough and Straffan in their Straffard gear to support the team. Tickets can be purchased at the link below:
It's all go with Finals lately around the club as our U17s are also in action in their Division 4 Final on Thursday evening in Straffan. The girls play Leixlip at 6pm. It would be great to get a lot of home support out cheering on the girls on the day. Best of luck to team and management.
